Always carrying a camera, embracing adventure and documenting life.
I’ve always been a dreamer. Having a so-called “normal life” was never a goal of mine and this nonconformity always led me to follow all kinds of paths. After graduating in Arts, I ventured into photography, lived and worked in two countries, independently mastering two languages, all while getting married in the midst of it all.
In 2015, following a family loss, I felt compelled to explore every opportunity. I began waitressing to save for my travels, which eventually led me to Amsterdam in 2018. As soon as I stepped foot on Dutch soil, my perspective shifted. I sensed a move abroad was due, and upon my return, I spent the next year preparing for this new phase.
Spoiler alert: nothing went as planned.
I spent two years residing in France and England, living in communities. From agricultural work to large-scale distribution warehouses, I interacted with bosses and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Living among others revealed a significant aspect of my character – I thrive in communal settings. Then, I became fascinated by unravelling people’s stories, their lifestyles, and recognising the intertwining of our paths. I am the type of person who believes that serendipity is rare, and a keen sense of curiosity knows no boundaries.
After moving back to Portugal, I ignited my dream of becoming a photographer, venturing across borders with my camera. I cultivated a love for capturing the stories of those around me, pushing my limits on adventurous and discomforting journeys. But it all felt natural – like peanut butter and jam!
For those who love to travel, one lifetime feels like it’s not enough. With a zest for life, everything intensifies: mountains seem larger, destinations grow more appealing, scents become more intense, people more fascinating, and the little details turn into fuel for the mind’s fire.
My love for travel and photography continuously shapes my mind and character, fostering ongoing learning and reflection while diminishing fears and insecurities.
I’m here to embrace, to live, and to share!
